Iconic Life Charity Project in Paradise Valley

This was an industry collaboration project where particular design groups and influencers got together and each were assigned a specific area of the home to design, with some of the proceeds going to charity. The Heart Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. We did not perform the installation but did supply the engineered hardwood used throughout the home on this project. TeMac Development  created a “Mod-terranean” estate in luxe Paradise Valley Arizona and  chose The Colonial Collection Jamestown Oak engineered hardwood floor to install throughout a majority of the home. Jamestown Oak  is 9” inch wide plank with a thickness of 5/8” that is smoked and stained (smoking is a chemical reaction that occurs in the tannins of the hardwood) to give the wood a unique color that highlight the wood’s natural grain. For durability the plank features wire brushing that removes the softer part of the grain and adds a bit of dimension and texture on the thick 6mm veneer.
